#2: Thoughful map, A.I. Geese and Bangalore Traffic, Blue Tokai going Green, Duo acts unhinged
People friendly map for Bangalore’s Majestic Interchange
According to @bengawalk, this is where you access the Purple and Green lines, seamlessly switching between metro, BMTC, KSRTC, and Indian Railways. The present map doesn’t accurately represent all the footpaths, foot over bridges, subways. The same map varies across the different exits and landmarks at the station (yikes!).
ChatGPT and all the Silly Geese
If this isn’t the greatest thread of this week, I don’t know what is! Garrett Scott tries to get ChatGPT to make the silliest goose possible. As a teaser, here are all responses from ChatGPT after multiple prompts.

So much so that ChatGPT had to weigh in on this as well.
This is part of a recent “make more” with ChatGPT (trend) that has been doing this rounds. This thread has managed to document a fair number of these. I sense a social commentary on indulgence and excessive consumption embedded in this.
And of course, there was a rather sobering one of “traffic in Bangalore”. Scroll down for this thread to see how bad it could get.
Blue Tokai goes Green
While at the Blue Tokai shop for my monthly refill of Vienna Roast, I stumbled on Blue Tokai’s cold brew range. It has brewing bags that can be composed and they’re offering to take the outer packaging back for recycling.
According to their website, the inner Cold Brew paper sachets are made with a fully biodegradable material that can be composted. The outer packaging can be dropped off or sent to any of their cafes for Rs. 5 cashback on each sachet packaging. Blue Tokai is taking a step further by ensuring the returned packaging is recycled through their vendor. Isn’t that nice?
An Unhinged Duolingo
I had abandoned Duolingo a while back when it became increasingly hard to ignore how they tweaked the system to push users towards opting for the Pro version. While I understand the need to monetise and enhance the product’s value for investors, it ruined the experience for me. Anyway, since I only ever used the App for learning, I didn’t know Duolingo had an online merch store.
I also didn’t know that when you bought a product you get sent messages like these along with your purchased item – I hope you enjoy your purchase from my merch store. I also hope that you do your daily lessons, because if you don’t… well, let’s just say I know where you live now. Calm down, Duo!

I no longer know what the real Duo experience is supposed to be. The Teletubbies-like Duo and friends are straight-up heading for Nightmare on Elm Street.
